Update is in the works for those who applied the unofficial Froyo update for the EVO 4G
Did a little bit of anxiety begin to settle in after you decided to not think it over and go through with installing that unofficial Android 2.2 Froyo update on your lovely HTC EVO 4G? Now do you find yourself in a predicament where you're constantly in fear that some catastrophic thing might occur at any time? Thankfully, you can put those fears in the back burner for now since HTC has come out of the woods and confirmed that they're “working to get you back on the official track.” Although there was no specific date when this update will be rolling out to those owners, at least they can sit tight and not worry much now that HTC is in the process of aiding them. However, additional information should begin to surface in the next few days – as HTC boldly states. So sit back and soak in that unofficial treatment for now.

I can't wait to get 2.2 for my Incredible. The Incredible desperately needs battery help. Even with my extended battery, it's struggling to make it through an entire day...
