Mine took about an hour to download. Another 10 minutes to install. After everything was said and done it tld me that the update failed. When going to check for updates manually it says my phone is up to date. I am so done with this phone. I have had the chance to play with the Samsung Charge, Incredible 2 and the Motorola "Targa". The Targa is absolutely the most stellar phone I could ever imagine having in the next 5 years.

My Pro "successfully" updated. It's in quotes because now the phone will refuse to display text messages even after it's indicated that I've received a new one...it says Message is Unavailable. However, it doesn't do this for everyone...it only does it on occasion but it does happen multiple times a day. I went through the awful factory reset restoration process to no avail. Verizon is shipping me a replacement phone but I have low confidence that it will resolve the issue. Very frustrating because otherwise I really like this phone.

Ha!! I guess I'm not surprised, just bummed! Pretty cool phone otherwise, especially if you like a hardware keyboard. I like the keyboard loads better than my wife's Droid II.
