I checked out the LG Vu this weekend. If the Dare is anything like the Vu (as far as the touch screen and performance) I will be a very happy camper. I liked it a ton better than either the Glyde or Voyager.

Will the vx9700 have a full QWERTY keyboard on its touch screen? Or will verizon customers have to deal with more T9 operated texting? I know the Prada still uses T9 but the LG Vu does not.

I just want all this hype to be over. No doubt verizon is going to screw me like they did with the voyager and charge 400 bucks for an UPGRADE. I think I'm getting the glyde, this phone is no doubt going to be horrendously expensive. I also agree that Verizon lags in releasing their "new" phones. I love verizon but they need to step up their game. They make themselves look bad.

You screwed yourself. You shelled out 400.00 Verizon didn't make you do ANYTHING. You're desire to be one of the first on the street with a new device is what prompted you to do something that stupid. And now, you have the gall to blame them?! Puh-lease!! It's like buying a new car. You'll get a better deal on the same model when it goes on the year end close-out. If you want to be the first on the block with one...well, you'll probably pay a premium to have it. I've had VZ service for 8 years and yeah, the phone models do lag a bit. But they last. All my friends with their AT&T or T-mobile "Supposedly cutting-edge phones" are always having issues. Yeah, EVEN the Iphone. My friend was one of the 1st to buy it...a die-hard Cingular fan..., and he's sold it...and came to Verizon. Verizon tests the heck out of their products, which is why it takes longer to get them on the market. So in the end, you've really made yourself look bad. Don't be stupid, stop blaming others for your misfortuntes, and man-up. If you're going to spend 400 on a phone, fine....just don't go pissing and moaning about it when it's outdated. Sooner or later...ALL THINGS become outdated.

1. No Idea 2. Hasn't been released. I'm thinking $500 before, $300 after. 3. It has Multi-Tap, t9, and QWERTY - All on screen as there are no keys on the phone.

alittle insider information release date set to july 3rd price for 2yr agreement after mir being 199.97 (399.99 no contract) unfortunantly no mediaFLO 3.2 mp camera if memory serves microSD slot (or miniSD i cant remember) strange thing is although can send a normal movie message of only 30 seconds can run up to 1 hr of digital video which in turn will be xfered to the expandable memory opens a few door. this phone was just another iphone clone but looks good with fair signal and plausability for people in the 20's not really a teenager phone or preteen. - a few answers to questions simular internet as iphone except counts as a normal cell so unl inet is 15.00 a month - i dont remember seeing anything about wifi - on screen keyboard although have options of using your fingers or a stylus whichever is your choice - strangely enough the voyager is more expensive than this phone is full retail mainly due to voyager has more parts to cause the higher price with anymore questions dont hesitate to ask

Cool. Thanks for the info :D July 3rd isn't far off. Question for you Verizon customers: I have been a good customer for over 10 years and my NE2 comes up on 9/30/2008 so I'll have a little less than 3 months to go. Do you think VZ customer service would allow for a slightly early NE2 discount or do I definately have to wait until 9/30/2008? Thanks!

this will be an all touch screen, and it will have a feature where u can write a name on the screen and it will recognize it and call that person.....more to come...

if u want to early upgrade and are within reasonable distance of ur date, under some situations they will allow it, the higher the price plan ur on the better ur chances are

so is this really confirmed that its coming out on th 3rd or 4th? Customer service told me that usually online will get it a week early, but still havent heard anything.
