I am not sure which part of the country the CDMA haters are in, but in the Northeast, when it comes to quality, it's verizon hands down. Trust me, Verizon is not going to switch to GSM.

Fyi, the VX9700 will NOT have MediaFlo and fyi the New Silver LG PRADA does have a Qwerty touch keyboard which is why the vx9700 will also have one.

GSM is way better than CDMA. Also CDMA of verizon does not have the most reliable network. I had verizon and I live in an area with is cover with trees and I look at verizon web site and I said I should have full bar and I didnt. Then I went with AT&T then I did have full bars. So CDMA is not better then GSM

amazing, i can bring up 100 other stories of customers comming from att and sprint/nextel because we get service everywhere and other carriers are spotty at best. since you love GSM so much, why dont you just list all the reasons its so much better, id love to hear all the technical examples, security, and whatever else you can pull up besides a story about trees and towers

Thanks for clearing up that goof who posted about the trees. Seriously, every service has bad service in different geographical spots. This does not make the overall network any different. Just because AT&T has a tower pointing in the right direction near your trees doesn't mean they will wherever you move to next. So you can't make your judgement based off of one spot.

coming to voice quality GSM is far better than CDMA. CDMA base stations consumes less power than GSM.

The Voyager is the biggest piece of crap i have ever owned. I purchase it in december and they had to issue me a new one two days later because it froze up and verizon's stupid tech's did not know what to do. Now my FOURTH voyager phone is in the mail on it's way to me. This phone is a complete nightmare. Stay away from it and preferably all touch screen products!

first off Verizon comes out with phones later than the competition because that want all of the kinks worked out of them before they give them to their customers. And all the people that don't like their phones should maybe learn how to use them.

Verizon staff's dont know more than a manager. Why dont you try asking a manager about this and go sear on cnet about it, get your facts straight. Just cause it says verizon doesnt mean it for verizon, im guessing Prada has there own carrier now since the phone saids Prada huh??????? And think about Env 1 is an vx9900, voyager vx10000, and now all of sudden verizon wants to make the model number lower the first env??? I think your the idiot now.
