Prada, VZW worker do you think you can provide us more info on the 9100 release?

It would be cool if this is like a mix of the Prada with the viewity...the style of the prada, with the camera look on the back. Even though the Glyde and Voyager have QWERTY keyboards, this one will better in my opinion.

his phone is awsome! (or will be). It is going to be Verizon's first touch screen phone that isn't completely marketed to teens because it is thinner and doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard. The photo is a littlt blury, but the main menu looks ok...not like every other Verizon phone. Their line up is getting better and better.

the LG rep that someone talked to probably said the vx9100 would be end of march and pushed back to april. This JUST cleared FCC. I would be somewhat surprised to see it within 6 months.

So does anyone know if the qwerty touch keypad "and the rest of the phone for that matter" has vibration feed back when touched?

Verizon has a good network but there phones has always been behind. Until recent times when they turned down the iPhone. The problem is not with the phone. Verizon inisist in putting their limited feature OS on the phones. They lock out all the features people want. Don't believe me try and put your own ring tones on a verizon phone. Try and put your own music on a verizon phone. Try and use blutooth to transfer files to the phone.....Nope you CANT. If Verizon had the iphone they would still lock out all the features ol Stievie would want on the phone.

It will most def have vibration response to go along with the touchscreen, especially since the LG Glimmer (Alltel) was released last week and has vib reponse.

I completely agree with you. I would go to AT&T, but I'm stuck with Verizon (though it is ok), their phones are good now, but they always get new GSM phones after they have been out for a while, and now there is a newer phone. I wish Verizon would figure it out.

Hey guys Verizon has heard you advise and has responded by opening their network to any compatible phone and will allow any user interface. So you can use the phones native U.I. if you like, or flash it to have verizon's U.I. if possible. So you will be able to get any phone and any application you want and it doesn't have to be through verizon

Yes you CAN put your own ringtones on Verizon phones. Yes you CAN put your own music on Verizon phones. Yes you CAN use Bluetooth to send some files to Verizon phones. WTF WTF WTF

Many Verizon workers don't know the information 'we' do. In other words, all of us that are on Phone Arena, HOFO,PhoneScoop know more than most Verizon Customer Service people and Store reps. Alot of those people don't know any info until the phone is released. You should consider yourself lucky to know this info we're being leaked covertly from people inside Verizon.

I work for VZW in nor cal and I am confused. I can't believe how covert verizon is keeping the information on these phones. We knew about the Touch months ago and still these phones which are supposed to be out by April/May I can't find in our infomanager...

71. There is a reason, VZW tries to keep the hype controlled to when it best suits the needs to sell the phone. They will FIRE you if they catch you giving out info on the phones before release. If you talk to any rep who does not visit these sites (most do), they will not know what phones are comming out because we dont normally get anything official until like a week or so before launch. Verizon pushes the quality of its network, which is far beyond anyone elses, not the phones. You can have the flashiest phone in the world, but its not worth much if it doesnt keep a call. You CAN put on your own ringtones, music, bluetooth files, ect. My EnV is filled with self made creations. You can even watch movies on certain phones if you get the right programs. Verizon controls whats on the phones to control the security and integrity of the network. You dont hear about many verizon phones being hacked to death like the Iphone, which was a major reason why we didnt want it, they lacked the security and refused to put it in place. That and they wanted to use our 2g network too.. haha, heck no!!! Even our base model phones can run 3g!

This is the phone I've been WAITING for, and my new every 2 comes up in April! I actually am using a vx8700 right now (great phone, btw). Anyways, have you guys seen that to use your upgrade, you have to change to one of their newer, more expensive plans for a phone like the voyager? Like, wtf mate

the subject of why you need to switch from americas choice to Nationwide for new HTML capable REGULAR phones has already been covered. It changes it from billing you per minute to per mb, at 1.99 per mb which is the lowest in the industry in america. there is NO other difference between AC and NW unless you have a plan your grandpa signed you up for when he was young.
