Don't forget that it won't work on the A5 (iPhone 4S) with the newer 5.1.1 build. You'll have to do a little trickery with the older 5.1.1 build to use it.

Apple updated the 5.1.1 build. This renders the untethered jailbreak on A5 devices useless. You have to download a signed version of the original 5.1.1 build and restore. Then perform the jailbreak. So yes, there is a little trickery involved.

You are wrong. The new JB works for the 4S as well.

What I was impressed with was just how simple it was. The app itself did all the work to jailbreak and install everything. I jail broke my iPhone 4 and 3rd Gen iPad in less than 15 minutes and only had to click "Jailbreak." Fantastic job to the folks on the crew for doing this.

why did Jeff get a thumbs down for this comment? Idiot trolls.

I think some are jealous at how easy and one-clickable the jailbreak is over a 20 step rooting process.

Yes, it does.
I'm going to jailbreak my dad's iPod Touch 4 and mess around with it, should be fun. :P

It does void your warranty but if anything happens and you need to send it back to Apple just restore it using iTunes and they'll never know.
I've personally done it loads of times with the whole Antennagate issue with the iPhone 4 and I got a new (faulty) iPhone back everytime.

It doesn't brick your device like rooting does. You can factory reset on the iPhone.

technically yes, but there is no way for apple to prove it if you backed up before jailbreaking and then restored to that back up… but just as a safety you should have a back up anyways when jailbreaking

What if you have 5.1.0, does it still work or do i need to UPDATE?
