It surely didn't take long for the iPhone 5 to get hacked. Only days after Apple's smartphone hit the market, it was given the jailbreak treatment by the popular iOS expert chpwn. But while a tethered jailbreak of iOS 6 has already been achieved, an untethered one (as in a jailbreak that you won't have to perform each time the iPhone is rebooted) might not be coming anytime soon...

I had an Android and they are not stable, they slow down, they lag. You can try to close out programs that you dont want running but they still run. Yeah, no, i'm good on those POS!

iPhone without Cydia is like a hamburger without the ham. JailBreak is A MUST so u can unleash the power of iPhone even it has mid-specs hardware. If iPhone not JailBroken, it is like OS full of launcher and no more to do just to lunch the apps and games. By the way, if iPhone had so much user around the world just like XDA on Android, may be it is easier and faster to exploit any of vulnerable in iOS.

Same with Android, no Root, no Fun, just like operating Windows with Limited Account Policy and we all know, what it feels being limited on our own device.

agree and disagree. The majority of people want a jailbreak just for installous and piracy. Do u think the jailbreak would be as popular if installous and ihacksrepo weren't about

the second one i agree, but the first, i think it is equal, as JailBreak and Root gives us Administrator Rights to "take over" device policy.

Actually, iPhone is the more stable of the 2. Droid allows programs to continue to run even after shutting them down. Whereas out of the box iPhone lets you. Droid lags and slows down after a month of use....iPhone shows no sign of slowing. Hmmmmmm......why do you people think Apple has only 1 line of phone? Droid has how many? No droid is better than iPhone yet.

Cydia is untethered on 5.1.1 so Cydia should release something that makes 5.1.1 look and behave like 6.0 but it's actually 5.1.1 Now that' would be smart.

yes iphone is more stable with no compactibility to another hardware. ios build for ONLY ONE specified hardware. imagine the droid MUST compacting all the posible hardware from around the world! so, for its compactibility, android got lag here and there (just like windows which used by so many variaty hardware, windows is also has lag here and there because of it MUST HAD COMPACTIBILITY). you compared ONE SPECIFIED HARDWARE OS to ALL AROUND HARDWARE COMPACTIBILITY. i really like to know if ios may adopted to another vendor like htc, sony ect, i'm sure THEY'LL GET LAGS TOO.
