Unofficial Google Pixel XL render shows us what the phone's face might look like
So, Google's Nexus line is dead and due to be replaced by a new Pixel family of devices, or at least that's what reports say. Worry not, the idea behind it is the same — Google-branded smartphones with vanilla Android on board and timely updates for at least 2 years. We are still expecting two smartphones this year — the Pixel and Pixel XL — which will be regular-sized and phablet-sized smartphones, just like last year's Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

A couple of days ago, we saw a potato-quality photo, which, allegedly, showed us a real-life version of the Pixel XL. Well, at least a blurry version of it. But. with something as huge as Google's next flagship smartphones, you can trust that talented fans will try to squeeze out as much detail as possible out of such shots.

One Reddit user, bndki, has taken the photo and built a render of the smartphone's front based on it. So, assuming that the leaked picture was of an actual Pixel XL, and that bndki managed to get the proportions right, we can see how the 2016 Google phablet will look up front — the render is below.

Well, yeah, it's a rectangle and nothing exciting to look at when the display is off. But still, we can't help but hope that the final product would have such thin bezels.
