Although it's been available for quite some time and most likely overshadowed by the release of the Palm Pre, you can now get yourself an unlocked Palm Treo Pro for $399. Palm's tried and true Treo Pro, powered by the Windows Mobile platform, is getting a nice $150 trim for their unlocked GSM handset. Although Amazon has offered it at that same price point for the last couple of months, you can purchase directly from the manufacturer on their web site. So if you've been itching to buy one, that extra savings does make it more tempting to buy. So head on over to their web site and grab yours.

for an unlocked phone without a contract extenstion, that is a very good price. In europe everyone appreciates the value of their device as there isn't contract trading for device (there are some special cases though). So idiot american and whine and cry like little babies becuse their device that costs millions to develop and create from R&D and the like will cry if they don't get a $900 device for $200. People drop more money for something way less practical like stupid shoes from gucci and the like. I think that is a good deal.
