When i am paying for all the data that i consume why should i pay extra for how i access the data?

The_Miz is correct for being upset. It sucks when your network is slow, but I would not blame everyone who wants to tether their CPU to their mobile data plan, because most of us just want to do simple web browsing and or answer email from our laptop without having to pay for the equivalent of an extra data plan for that convenience.
However, I would blame the millions of people watching/downloading movies, but then again they are just utilizing the amount of data(capped) that they already paid for in advance and your carrier knows that it over promised you and all of their other customers! So, the carriers need to figure it out and in the mean time what does it really matter if its on their phone or CPU, people will do it either-way and even if they can't tether, they will just stream the video/multimedia to their TV/entertainment system...

With that said, I have one question for you. Were you the guy who cheered on the Carrier's when they started capping unlimited data or the guy who said for $1500+ a year, my phone should do a much more, than unlimited texts, minutes, data on a 3-4inch screen?

For the record! I don't agree your data plan should allow you to share your data with 8 other devices at once for free. Yes, you should pony up and pay for that type of widespread usage/sharing.

*****In my opinion the first carrier to offer free WIFI tethering, to your personal CPU and Tablet will probably sweep the market for business accounts and students who want to work on the go.
