The number of WP8 apps available has expanded greatly, and the platform now has virtually all major software. The app issue is no longer a problem for most people, except those who desire obscure wares...

I am glad the App is back. My family has been with USAA for nearly 2 decades. Greatest bank in the world! The agents are always helpful and will go to war for you over vendors treating you wrongly.
We had a couple of companies not want to give our money back and the USAA agents demanded the authorization codes from the vendors via a 3 way conference call. They got the job done and our money back.
There wasn't any of the "I am sorry, we can't help you". It was more of, "We need the authorization code to credit our member, WHO do I need to speak to." They have served us proudly over all of these years and I am proud to be a USAA member. We also get our direct deposit a few days earlier than members of other institutions. It seems like USAA does more for us for serving our country than our country does for us. We also created USAA accounts for our daughters, the tradition continues.
Thank you USAA!!!!

I recently was involved in a car collision that wasn't my fault and explained the situation to them but it seems they wouldn't cover 100% on the towing and storage expenses. The rates for insurance is high but maybe it's because I'm a new driver/young.

Yeah, young driver's insurance rates are usually high; no matter who you insure with. To even add that you were already involved in an accident, it just adds more and it doesn't usually matter who's fault it is.

Too bad the app is mostly a web wrapper.....there isn't much difference than going to the mobile website.

Good news for WP users. USAA has physical locations in San Antonio and I think also Colorado Springs.
