I have had many android phones and now an iphone. I personally do want a larger screen, but the display one the iphone is still the best looking and clearest to me...everyone i know with an android device is fed up with "force close" issues. Fix that and I may be back? Until then Ill take my virtually crash free iphone with all of the Great apps!

I will believe you when your Droid Charge actually outsells the iphone :)

I say when apple finally breaks down and gets a contract with adobe flash instead of being "we're too good for that" idiots then they will have a product that will be superior to android until that day comes android will always come out on top. Samsung has the products which blow away the competition. They take their phones to the next level and soon they'll be outdoing apple. Bottomline apple is scared becuase they're afraid samsung is getting a little too close to competing with apple so they had to throw something at them to slow their sales down.

ok this is from a guy who has used all os on the market in the u.s.. android fan or ios fan you have to admit the samsung products do resemble that of apples! This is not a debate of android being better or apple being better. Its about how one company took a product and made it look very much like another. Like it or not thats why there are patents, to protect companys. If you made a product, had a patent, you would not like if I made something that looked like it and sold it.

Have any of you droid trolls noticed that samsung offers their smartphone and tablet in black and white just like the iPhone. You scroll through the apps side to side just like the iPhone. Their music app logo is the same as the iTunes logo. There's obviously a big resemblance in UI and hardware.
I mean look at the droid x. No one can accuse that big ugly hump of being an iPhone. Or the palm Pre. It looks nothing like an iPhone.

Yeah, Apple was definitely the first to offer products in black or white.
Last time I checked on my phone the App Drawer scrolls down and you can choose whether there on the homescreen or Drawer :P
There is a resemblance in UI, but let's remember Apple wasn't the first to use the GUI. -.-
Hardware? Don't see it, may be just me.

did you also know that the iPhone uses a gsm/cdma reciever chip? like many other phones available before it.

I will have to say, when a company tries to use the legal system to stay off the competition, it sure shows how scared they are. Apple should be ashamed of themselves. A company with one of the highest market capitalization's in the world can't innovate fast enough to compete legitimately?? What a joke! They are profit trolls who don't want to put a decent sized display on their phone for the last 3 years because it would cut in to their profits a little. The Galaxy S 2 is being delayed by the carriers who are afraid of Apple. Sack up fellows, it's called competition and it's good for the consumer and innovation. -SeniorEd

I usually don't post to articles (can't spell and don't want to) but there needs to be some rationality. I love anything and everything Google I made a Chromebook have a Xoom and own a Samsung epic (sprints galaxy s)and in the past have built a apple desktop computer and formally owned an iPod touch 1st Gen.. I can see a small resemblance in the two phones the button is only slightly different from the iPhone. The icons however don't have any similarties. I don't think apple should be sewing Samsung, because there is too many things different. All you guys insulting each other is pointless. All the crap about which phone is better, is baced soley on option. I don't like iPhone because of the lack of custimization, like no Widgets and no home screen replacements. I hope this ends all the crap about this.

I wish Apple and Samsung stop this stupid lawsuits, as it will affect the enduser in terms of price. Iphone is nice, but so is Samsung Galaxy s2. Both phones are great, but in terms of hardware, apple really needs to catch up.
Really wish that Apple will do something new and fresh with Iphone 5.
And I REALLY REALLY WISH that all of you stop bickering and ask both samsung and apple to get their new phones to arrive sooner !!!!

finally registered on this site just to comment to this cuz im getting sick of all this pointless hating between fanboys.
unless you're a completely closed-minded android fanboy, you need to admit that iOS has an impeccibly clean and simple format. which is what some people like. plus, it operates lightning fast and seamlessly smoothly. which is also a plus. (in the US) the HTC EVO 3D's Android 2.3 + Sense 3.0 is the only phone os that comes close to the speed and smoothness of the iOS.
BUT, for those who don't want a simple format, there is Android.and unless you're a completely closed minded isheep, you have to admit that Android is simply more versatile and personal. Multiple homescreens and widgets; custom keyboards, sms, web browesers, etc. anything you're not happy with on stock Android can be changed for something different. plus, Android has multiple phones with different body shapes and styles for people who may prefer a rounded body as opposed to a more edged one, and vice versa.
as for the whole Apple V Samsung matter; its just plain stupid. yes, just like iOS,Touchwiz takes a simplistic visual approach with stacked 4x4 icons (even making it look similar with 4 basic icons sitting in a separate little shelf on the bottom). but iOS was far from the first to have this sort of basic format. that fact alone makes their lawsuit completely frivolus and pointless.
FINALLY, to all you iSheep and (closed minded) Android fanboys, GROW THE F*CK UP! neither phone os sux. in fact, both are quite fantastic. they just excel in different areas, and are aimed at different types of users.
