Having had the g note 2 for two weeks I had to sadly return it. Awesome device, but the camera, which is the number one piece of a smart phone to me was very subpar for a phone this good. Lack of auto compression, auto editing, and although it has manual editing it doesn't decrease the file size, having to select limit for mms to make sure the videos were sendable sucks cuz their too grainy to really see. This was a deal breaker for someone who's very into photography. Having the g note told me two things about the iPhone, 1. it told me just how stale the iPhones UI is 2. It told me just how good the iPhone actually is. The iPhone ran neck and neck with it n speed and fluidity, but pales n the its ok department. When it comes to practicality however the iPhone is a top notch device. The note is dream power device though and the split screen feature was great.

I got myself an iphone for 2days but I had to sadly return it. The camera is slightly better than the one found on my GNOTE II but is not much of an upgrade. Otherwise it sucks in every other categories. Limited and restricted as hell, no NFC, purple flare, prone to scratch and dent, tons of bugs, lacks refinements in the UI and ain't practicle at all! Seriously who the hell had the stupid idea to put the on screen back button on the top left corner.

See my point exactly. Nothing's perfect for everybody... Betcha we're expecting an argument, or a flame war, but I'm a techie not a fanboy. After my wedding is taken care of I'll buy another note 2, possibly of craigslist cuz it's just that good of a device, but the iPhone 5 is my go to device. The iPhone 5 requires me to carry nothing else...I like that.

You forgot to mention the iPhone 5 wifi problem. Many iPhone 5 users check with me why their wifi is slow. I told them to wait for a software fix. 6.0.2 which might solve the problem at the expense of higher battery usage.
