*UPDATE*
No sooner did Verizon get some new inventory of the HTC Touch Pro2, then the model gets sold out all over again! The fact that Big Red is pricing the phone for $150 less than Sprint and T-Mobile might have something to do with this, as well as the fact that the handset has great features for both enterprise and consumer use. For those Verizon customers who were shut out again, better luck next time. As a footnote, the models that were shipped all came with Windows Mobile 6.1 which means that Big Red was not deliberately holding back inventory to wait for units loaded with the newer Windows Mobile 6.5.

Got mine last week. Now we just need Big Red to come through on WinMo 6.5. Anyone have any REAL info on that happening?

Yeah. . . was in stock for 3 hours this morning and is now out of stock as well as the telesales. talked to a rep at noon, also she acted like it might not be around much sooner and tried to push me in to a lol . . . she reffered to it as a "htc amigo" got to love cs reps.

well being that the update came out for europe already, i would think u.s carriers will get it sometime before the year ends

Sold out again. I have had a touch pro 2 for 2 weeks now, unfortunately I got one with a bad speakerphone. The verizon rep is sending me a new one tomorrow. They only had 208 total in the entire Verizon inventory and are now sold out again.

Wow....that just shows how popular this phone really is. I was fortunate to order it on the first day it came out, and all i really want is the marketplace. But other than that this phone is really amazing.
