Just about as good as a $100 price cut, buy a Pre with a 2 year contract, port over a number from your old carrier and get a credit of $100 in your Sprint account...

Cnet is reporting they have pulled the offer already. This is why Sprint is 4th in the US (out of 4 major companies). I'm waiting for the Hero anyways..........but c'mon. Are they trying to go out of business?

this is irrelevant but phonearena needs to calm down with their advertising partners. seriously this is getting ridiculous. i just went through three full page advertisements before i even got to the home page for phonearena.

ugh!!! Sprint sucked when I left them 5 years ago, and they still suck. Why the heck did Palm go to Sprint, instead of verizon anyway? Wouldn't it have been smarter to go sell their phone on a network with more people signed on? Clearly, I'm not savy on the business end of telecommunications, but it makes sense to offer your product to a network with a lot of people to maximize your chances of selling it to as many people as possible. At the very least, it would have been a stronger debut...
