I don't care what they say about it being a west coast issue. I will have my phone just sitting there and it starts switching between menus at random without being touched and then when you do touch an option, it chooses which option it wants to show you - I'm averaging being able to successfully answer one phone call at a time -- I have to turn phone on and off to get it to work again for a short period of time. I have already switched back to my previous phone and was told to bring it in for servicing but after this email thread, they WILL be replacing this with a touch screen phone, which is what I spent my money to get.

I work at a NE Area call center and I have heard nothing of this at all. Not to mention it's still on our website. And although I wouldn't personally buy it myself when there are better choices comming out like the storm, etc. many of my co-workers have the Glyde and have no issues.

Env2 Is crap too i went through 4 glydes substitued it for the Ev2 and i am now on my 4th one. Some of the phones VZ are providing are garbage. Id rather have the voyager but if this Ev2 goes out than im going to straight up go off on verizon because im getting real fustrated with this!!!

I will be headed to the verizon store in search of a glyde replacement shortly. What will happen? And out of my options, which is the best phone choice? Thanks guys.

I just got an email from VZ that included the Glyde for an upgrade (Los Angeles area), so they are still advertising them.
