So as an employee, how many people have you had to talk out of the XV6800? I'm on my 5th one now...1 had a bad camera, the other three bricked during the WM 6.1 update process...the phone would turn itself off during the procedure and never recover.

the glyde HAS NOT been pulled from the shelves in all locations. Im staring at one now. It must be a regional thing. Also VERIZON does not MAKE the glyde, SAMSUNG does. so when it sux, bitch to samsung! geeze.. They are supposed to be releasing a major overhaul patch shortly, or atleast thats what the samsung rep says. and it is a POS phone :) btw, to #6, the voyager is now the highest rated phone on the market for cust satisfaction and quality. I know, i have one, i love it :)

funny, because employees like you are the ones who punk out other carriers for MAKING bad phones... voyager, glyde, doesnt matter, both are garbage...

Way to stereotype. The Glyde is junk, I hope they pull it in the south also. If you think the Voyager is junk, I would dare say you are an *phone fanboy. I'm not going to say it though.

not an iphone fanboy... just like a functioning phone, like my diamond... i would never use a apple iphone... its an overhyped remake of the palm os, with a garbage network, and more bugs than a dumpster...

And what network would your diamond happen to be on? Who's left, sprint/Metro/alltel/TMobile, unless of course out of the US. All of those are nowhere near what VZW or AT&T have nationwide. The diamond is really not that bad of a pda, to put it next to a voyager is like putting a benz next to a camry each great in class but totally different products. If you had a bad experience with the voyager that makes you a rare case, as a universal tech I can say the voyager actually isnt bad no matter what the network (VZW Telus Bell yadda yadda.). Sure it doesnt have winMO or super customizability or an htc logo but once again, two totally different products.

I have own two glydes for 2 weeks. I am returning them both. Not because of touch screen issues, rather NON-ease of use. To make a phone call takes about thirty seconds of fiddle f....... It is a major event to make a simple phone call. Samsung was truly wacked here. With a normal Samsung phone I can call out from a list with my eyes closed in about 3 seconds. Glyde primary function should follow previous SIMPLICITY of other Samsung flip top phones.

I THINK OUT OF THE 15 GLYDES I REGRETABLY SOLD EVEN THOUGH I TOLD CUSTOMERS THAT THEY WERE PIECES OF GARBAGE, I THINK ONLY ONE OUT OF THOSE 15 DIDNT COME BACK DEFECTIVE. I DONT THINK WE'VE PULLED OURS HERE OR HAVENT BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO SO, BUT IF WE DO I'LL BE THRILLED.

talk to your manager about it we have the discretion to pull it from the floor if we want we just have to explain why. unless theres a drive period that has the glyde on a poster or something like that

I don't even bother putting them on my order list, and I never talk to customers about them. I don't want to sell people junk phones. Samsung dropped the ball on that one.

I hope the Samsung rep that talked to #9 was right about a major overhaul patch. If not, I don't see sticking out the two years with this phone.

You all can thank upper management for letting this POS phone be sold to you. I'm a tech for the big VZ, and in the labs we had problems with the call quality and touchscreen. But, the top execs ignored all the problems and released it.
