text messaging, vcast, mobile web- these can all be blocked (or you can pay $5 for usage controls) but if you own a blackberry- it MUST HAVE either email and web for $29, BES support email and web for 44.99, (or rarely) 10mb bes support for 24.99. back in the days of the 8703e and earlier- it was rare, but possible, for a BB to have no data. but no longer. and besides, anyone who has a blackberry with no data is a moron- plain and simple.

When getting any Blackberry/PDA/Smartphone you NEED to add a data plan... whether it's 10MB, 25MB, unlimited MB, or pay per KB... there are no block codes for these types of devices. The only block codes are for phones, which are mobile web block, app block, vcast block, etc.

the phone won'tactivate if you try to block data..won't even let you sell it out.. i tried, just for the sake of weighing in on this arguement. Keeps giving you error notifications

awwwww no wifi...so you cant use ur phone in 14% of America on shitty connection speeds, VZW doesnt want cheap *** customers like you around. They want people that understand the value of broadband speeds in 80% of America and will play for that service....no queer bait child rapists like yourself who travel 6 miles out of your way to use a free wifi connection. you wont be getting a BB Storm because you dont deserve one. Those phones are ALL reserved for people who spend money and appreciate what Big Red can provide that gAyT&T can not....GOOD CALL QUALITY BEST RECEPTION AND FAST DATA SPEEDS.

Why would you go to ATT anyways? I heard TMobile has a really good garage sale going on right now..... Cheap Skate!

it has to have some kind of data plan, $24.99 for 10Mb is the lowest. it won't even let us finalize the activation or feature change if there is not a bb data package bolted on

I don't understand why someone would use wi-fi as the deciding factor in choosing a carrier. Thats pretty absurd to me. But anyway, if you plan on getting the Storm then you will need to get a data plan. Therefore, having the data plan will nullify the need for wi-fi because VZW's data network is faster than wi-fi.

you cannot use the feature blocks on a blackberry, and if you are the one who is telling customers that you can, stop it. i'm tired of fixing your mistakes.

I have not read all these postings yet and I would not bet my life on it but my VZW rep said they believed it would go for like $250 with a $50 MIR AND a free 8gb micro SD card! If that is the case that is one HELL of a deal!

theres no way it could be sold that cheep... i will shit myself if they sell it at $250.....

It is in the internal corporate pricing matrix for the NE AREA at 249.99 with a 50 MIR and it has 8 gigs of internal memory in the device already. It can be expanded up to 16 gigs.

its not 8 gigs internal, its a free 8gig card that comes with it.

thats amazing considering what the phone holds... but odd taht its a $50 MIR when all the other blackberrys are $70

im sure its a 70 rebate. its 70 on EVERY pda/bb now, so its not going to be diff on the storm. 250 sounds about right. puts it more expencive than the curve, but not obnoxious. 250 for that phone + 8gigs... rockin the house.
