no, actually, as 77 pointed out, you are a total douchebag if you are relying on vcast for D A P C(dee dee dee), the only way you arent getting chargebacks is A: They have a voyager/dare/glyde and B: You add it and just dont tell them(sounds bout right)

i really dont care what you so called DM's or premiumn retailers think. i got hired to sell and show the value in our products. so thats what im going to do. and for you (a supposed DM) to sit here and not see the value in selling a product that we offer leads me to believe that your district is far from number two or that youre even a DM. youre most likely an ASO

i'm debating whether i should wait for this or get the dare...what do you guys think?

I had the dare for about 2 months and I liked a lot about it. However, the touch isn't nearly as smooth as I would like it to be. In fact, for LGs second attempt since the launch of the iphone, its pathetic. I would hold out for blackberry especially if you need emails and the like.

Nothing is close to the capacitive touch of the iPhone, nothing requires less pressure and by nothing i mean, nothing. I had an AT&T Fuze for a while, great phone, really loved it. but it felt more like a push and drag on that screen than the "flick". I really don't like the click button screen on this, you have to push down hard every time you want to select something... Good thing I have no plans for Verizon in my future. :)

well you have never used the storm, so you wouldnt know.

you are basing your information on a video of an prototype of a phone. great thinking goober.

since I am using the Storm right now, I would have to say WRONG and FAIL for all I Phone users, this device is brighter , more responsive and offers more OUT THE BOX than a Jail Broken Y Phone.

We'll see how true your words are when the phone comes out #13. the device the guy used in a video might have been a prototype, but that's basically how the touch screen is going to be. They can't possibly redesign the entire touch screen in less than a month. Its just like the Instinct. A reviewer said that the touchscreen was very unresponsive. A commentor said that it was because the reviewer was using a test model. Well the updated/final instinct shipped a week later and although the touch screen was improved, it was a major improvement from the test model. But I'm excited to see how well the Blackberry Storm performs when it is released. We've already gone through the Voyager, the Instinct, the Dare, and the Diamond. Hopefully this phone will beat the iphone. I seriously doubt that it beat the iphone based on all the touch screens that came out in the past, but if they do beat the iphone, then all I will have to say is good job to Blackberry.

I have the dare and its a great phone with tons of features...but its a phone not a smartphone. It's all about what you need. You can get email on the dare...i guess the only thing it can't do it open pdf's, excel etc. and no push email (as far as I know but there may be an app for this)

I'm curious to see this "click" touch in action. I think it could be a nice feature but wonder how it will be when you are typing on the virtual keyboard. I also wonder if this is a feaeture that can be turned off if the user does not like it or at least adjust some kind of sensitivity setting. There will be a slight learning curve like there is with every touch screen phone so after 24-48 hours of use most people will pick up on it pretty quick.

My guess is that the feature will be active only on the screens that need it
