Damn that's incredibly stupid. Why would they lock LTE to one courier? Well they are releasing their heavy contender later on this year so I guess they don't much care about sales stateside.

FInally Sony? You're too slow! But never mind, at least the phone has arrived to the U.S. .

yeah, this is the worst part of their strategy.
they easily loose their share in US.

Yeah, that's why they need to be FAST to catch up with their competitors and their share in the U.S. as well.

Yeah, it sure looks like another opportunity lost for Sony. Even AT&T is well along with their LTE implementation. Why Sony chose to save maybe $10 in cost on LTE capability, is beyond me.
Too many other good phones sucking the oxygen out of the room for Sony right now.

Yeah, I agree. Sony has lost all their energy.
If Sony keep on doing like that, I hate to say this, but, Sony is gonna lose the competition, and there's no hope for Sony to win this year.

Honestly I don't see what the problem is. The Nexus 4 doesn't have LTE either. Right now they are the same price, & basically identical (Z & ZL). So just decide if you want LTE (ZL) or water/dust proof with a extra hour of battery life (Z).

629?, this phone should go for ~500 max. The nexus 4 is 300$.
