U.S. Cellular offers LG Wine

After the Chocolate, LG’s kitchen now offers the Wine - a well-looking clamshell phone with a glossy front. It is definitely not the most advanced device out there, with a small 1.3” external display and without EV-DO support, but it is proud to have a GPS, a 2.2” QVGA internal display and a 1.3-megapixel camera. The Wine is designed as an easy-to-use handset, for the user who needs a basic phone. It has four shortcut keys, a large numeric keypad and is said to “set the standards for ergonomics” and feature a high fidelity speakerphone. In addition, the size of the fonts can be adjusted, making it suitable for elder people. LG Wine is now available in either Red or Silver for $30 after a contract and mail-in rebate.
