U.S. Appeals Court gives Apple a chance to immediately block Samsung tablet sales
0. phoneArena 14 May 2012, 12:42 posted on
A U.S. Appeals Court ruled Monday that Apple can ask for an immediate block of the sale of some Samsung tablets based on the infringement of one Apple patent; the Appeals Court said that a U.S. District Judge in California was mistaken when he ruled that Apple failed to show that it could win the case...

See, you think that because you think you're objective. You're not. You're as big a fanboy as any Fandroid, and it colors your perception, in many ways worse than most people. Your viewpoint is so clouded by your love for Apple that you can read a glowing review of an Android phone, and swear the review said it was laggy.
In much the same way, you can look at Samsung's Galaxy Tab, and swear it's a direct copy of the iPad, then 5 minutes later look at pictures of the iPhone 4 and the original LG Prada, and see no similarity.
So as someone who owns neither the iPad nor the Galaxy Tab, and who doesn't want either one (or any tablet), I can assure you its not obvious to an actually unbiased person that Samsung copied Apple. Only from within the RDF, where its also known that Macs cannot get malware or viruses and PowerPC CPUs were faster than x86 counterparts of the time.

Why am I not surprised that I found you here and nowhere else?
The iPad is such a minimalistic design (which had been featured in many products and movie props before the iPad, by the way) that you can't really make a tablet computer that looks a lot like the iPad.
Yeah, the charger design is pretty similar, but Samsung knows that people aren't buying tabs because of the goddamn charger design. They are pretty blatant about the whole "WE ARE NOT GODDAMNED APPLE!" thing. It's silly to argue that similar charger designs are costing Apple sales.

It's silly to deny Samsung is copying. The tablet looks the same, the packaging is the same. They even copied the damn charger. Samsung is getting what they deserve.
Touchwiz was a copy as well as the galaxy phones.

Yes, because a rectangle with a screen is a totally new phone design, like all phones before that were circle or coned shaped. If you don't count the iPhone as a copy of the Prada, then neither is Samsung's devices. You just can't accept that Samsung used Apple's design and made it better 10 folds and Android brought more functions to the table that you iDiots can only dream of. If Apple was so great, they would have created a better, more revolutionary device to counter the SII since it's a copy, but what did they do? 4S. Pretty obvious who's hit a mind block and stopped innovating...

Ok, everyone...you do know that Steve Jobs would never copy or steal ideas? Right ;-)

Good question would be why Taco and Gallitoking are so anti-Android. I mean they are more anti-Android than I am anti-apple (and, I have several of their products in my home). The iProducts are far from perfect, but are still decent products for the casual user.
Are they paid to be anti-Android? Apple employees? Phone dealers? I mean...WHAT's UP WITH THAT?

What about an article on middle aged T-Mobile reps who have no life?
71. frydaexiii (Posts: 1429; Member since: 01 Dec 2011)
At least he has a job, which pretty much counts as a life to regular people. Only stupid kids like you consider camping in line for the next outdated product and wasting your parents money as a "life".

This is a good thing I think. It sends the message that companies can not copy apple so blatantly and just get away with it. Should go one step further and stop all of android in my opinion.

That was Steve Jobs ultimate goal, since the courtroom was the only way he could stop Android. He couldn't out innovate it. He couldn't out perform it. Look at the head start iOS had, and Android just zoomed past like it was standing still.
Steve never learned his lesson from the Windows/OSx wars. Restrictions on the consumer's freedom with the product will push buyers in other directions. Openess of having tens of thousands of programmers writing whatever they want for the device, and letting the owner decide will fuel innovation.
Since he didn't remember the past, he was damned to repeat it. And his colossal ego would never allow him to admit he'd made any mistakes ever.(Fortunately, Apple has a leader now who, while not as charismatic, is more level headed, less egotistical). So here we are now. Android is the number 1 smartphone OS. Samsung us the number 1 smartphone producer.
Oh, and Android isn't a copy of iOS. Different language, does more, and as of ICS, does it just as smoothly and effortlessly. In fact, these days it would be more accurate to call iOS a copy of Android, as they take more and more elements from it.

I just find it absolutely hilarious that Apple is so consumed with getting revenge on Samsung for supposedly copying them, when thier company was in fact started on a stolen idea.
Funny thing is, bill gates did the same exact thing, and you don't see him on a war path.
Bill gates famous line to Steve jobs " we both wanted it" , I just got there first" (IBM)
Steve jobs famous quote: " if a competitor has a great idea, I have no problem stealing it" ( I know that's not exactly what he said, but I just got off a night shift and I'm to tired to look it up)
The fact of the matter is, Steve jobs built his entire company off of some ones else's idea, this is why I think most people have a problem with these games Apple has been playing, and most Apple fanboys are to stupid to realize that thier fearless leader was nothing more than a dead beat dad and a whiny hypocrite

Relevent is spelled r-e-l-e-v-a-n-t. And secondly, since they claim to be superior to everything Samsung related,it is ironic to say the least.

I can't understand why Apple is so afraid of competition. They are trying to bully anyone that comes close. Samsung will not be pushed around. They have the power, money and resources to fight Apple until the end. This one is far from over as far as I am concerened.
