Two new Sidekicks for T-Mobile this year?
There was a time when T-Mobile's Sidekick had one of the better keyboards on a phone, and the phone's ability to google something was out of the ordinary. Those days are long gone and the carrier now offers the Android based G1 whose features really make the sidekick look obsolete. Now, a company called Personal Communications Devices (PCD), may have given away the news that two versions of the Sidekick are to hit T-Mobile in 2009. PCD is a company that markets and distributes handsets, and during the CES, they handed out a lengthy press release that discussed positive earnings forecasts for the company and then went on to say that they will handle some phones for HTC, a new Quickfire for AT&T with a touchscreen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and they are going to offer a "couple" of new Sidekicks for T-Mobile. If you recall, the previous models did not have 3G, Wi-Fi, or a full HTML browser. Perhaps this time around, some of those features will be included. What would you want to see on a new Sidekick?

A Quickfire update for AT&T? I've played with the phone and I like it and now that I hear that the Quickfire might get an upgrade...that makes me very excited!

THREADED TEXTING. For a phone that's made for texting, it might as well offer chat-style conversations.
