#TurkeySelfie: Instagram says Thanksgiving 2013 was its busiest day ever

The running joke about Instagram is that its main usage is to let people share pictures of their food, and this latest story isn't going to help get rid of that joke at all. Thanksgiving turned out to be a very big day for the service last year, and this year Instagram is saying that Thanksgiving was the busiest day ever for its photo-sharing app...

Sincerely I don't get the point about taking pictures of your food and using cheap filters on it... can anyone explain me?

You don't have to understand why people enjoy what they do.. I'm sure there's things that you do that everyone wouldn't understand, or agree with.. Nobody's perfect, so just focus on what makes you happy.. ;-)

Is that why you advertise Windows Phone in almost every article you post in?
I'm kidding! I really want a 1520 or a Nexus 5, though!

Well, it's not like I'm some Instagram freek, but sometimes I like to see what my friends are posting, especially my friends who live out of town.. And, as dumb as it may sound it is kinda interesting to see what they had for dinner.. Lol.. Nevertheless, I might open Instagram, on my WP device ;-), twice a month.. It's really simple. If you don't like a phone, OS, or app, then just don't use it.. But, there's to many knuckle heads here on PA who have to hate, be disrespectful, and ruin the fun for others..

Sad thing is, the sense of anonymity will always bring out the worst in some people no matter where they are. It's a nasty, twisted world the one we live in. Harmony and respect are going downhill - fast.

Respect is earned,
Harmony is learned.
Basic civility is given, to our persona.. Until shown it may not be deserved at all.
How much time do you expect to spend in direct contact with fanboys of any camp to aquire either though?
Considering, some enjoy frothing at the mouths.
Yup to hell in a hand basket.
