Trade-ins for Apple's tablets jump tenfold on eBay in anticipation of the iPad 3
EBay's trade-in program saw a huge tenfold increase in the number Apple's iPad and iPad 2 on offer compared to the same period last year.

175, 000 devices were offered in February alone to the company's Instant Sale program, where you get the cash, and eBay takes care of shipping and wiping.

Since the Instant Sale commerce site launch there have been 7.5 million trade-ins, the majority of which were Apple gadgets. Of its two tablets, the first iPad has been the one most often traded, and people are getting rid of it in droves now, in anticipation of the iPad 3 launch.

Apple has a press event scheduled in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco next Wednesday, so the iPad trade-ins will keep increasing in the next seven days or so.

Its the apple ifan buying frenzy fever, the silicone chips inside their head has been switched to buying overload. They are now compelled to sell their newly acquired ipad 1 or 2 to pay for this new ipad 2$,just like they did with the ipad 1 for the ipad 2 a year ago.

The very slight changes in the ipad model changes everything again and the fact that they will have the exact same menu, layout,ui,apps, games.photos, music, browser, charger, screen size, memory capacity and exact same designed tablet yet again in it is irrelevant

Its a sad thing that the same people will do the same thing when the Iphone 5 comes out. Those who bought the 4s will sell it after having it less than a year.
