Its called marketing. You dont think apple or whom ever, can make a phone with a 12.1 mp camera, high mhz processor, and all of the other works. Its apples marketing strategy and its obviously working as the iphone is the all time best selling sell phone. Its their way of saying " you like our product?,, stay tuned for our next iphone that will be bigger and better then whats in your hands". And we the consumer go and buy the newest phone they come out with. Thats just one reason as im sure there are others. Think about it. If apple or motorola come out with a phone with the absolute best technology at our current point in time, what else would there be after for the consumer to look foward to?

from personal experience I've never used the physical keyboard on my Droid, i use touchscreen for everything and i haven't had the slightest problem with accuracy I'll have to search for this article in it's entirety (not the one posted on an I-phone blog) but if they did not test multiple droids, i-phones & etc there's no way this was an accurate test And why does this site always have to end up filling with VZW & Apple fanboys that can't spell and can't stand the possibility that there might be any other phone besides their favorite it's pathetic and learn how to spell before you type or at least use spell check

Last I checked we were comparing phones not networks. If you want to compare networks then fine. Verizon uses CDMA with can channel 10x more users. CDMA is older and got a quicker start on 3G then GSM based networks did. CDMA is slower than GSM and cannot be upgraded as easily. Most networks in overseas countries and Canada either completely ditched CDMA or made a slow but steady change to GSM. As far as right now CDMA users can't use both voice and other 3G functions on their handsets.

and neither can iphone since it requires 3g and they basically have no 3g coverage lol.

people can say whatever they want about the iphone or driod or any other phone out there. at the end it just come down to personal preference. personally i don't like the android os it just doesn't work for me. and iphone os does. i am not saying that android sucks far from it and just the simple fact that millions of people use it would beg the differ. i rarely post anything on here because of all the stupid people who bash on phones they dont know a damn thing about. but i know for a fact that majority of people only hate the iphone because it is popular. is the droid better than the iphone? considering the reviews and the specs it probably is. but for what i do its not. i love my iphone and for everything that it does and again that is my opinion and if someone does not like i honestly dont give a fuck.

Did anybody notice how thick the Droid's lines were and how slow the guy was drawing the lines? The thicker the lines the more "noise" the drawings have.....

So i guess for now apple can't be beat in this category. I admit, they have done a great job with the iPhone overall, but lets face it, the device it almost three years old. As with any electronic device, one cannot be best at everything. As for me, I do not plan on "fingertip" drawing elaborate pictures on my touch screen phone! This test means NOTHING to normal people!

I guess my question for the people who did this study would be how many of each device did they test, did they use the same speed when they were drawing the lines each time on each phone, were their fingers the exact same temperature? If not, then I would say I don't buy into the results they gathered.

since there is almost an entire war going on between die hard iphone tards and optimists, let me just throw in some facts. no the iphone does not multitask. try pressing the home button and switching in and out of apps like a tard will casue your phone to start lagging even though it cannot multi task. to anybody who tried out the droid and found it was laggy, it was probably because it was running over 20 apps at once. solution: get an app killer that shuts down apps youre not using. my friend has an iphone and is awed by all the things my phone does and i have a droid eris. hes jealous that i get free music using i music, an app that apple rejected. and all my amazing widgets make him want my phone. why i like his? currently, his phone gets better battery life. thats all. i have an ipod touch and i know everything about it. to me, iphones are just like android devices... just that they lack the amazing notification panel, multi tasking ability, alot of useful apps, 3g coverage almost everywhere, physical buttons (like a track ball or d pad), and a decent calling experience. you iphone defenders ( i may be wrong) go on and on defending your precious apple product, without even trying others out. and then when it comes to a flaw, you over look it and then try and spot out a loop hole. why bother?
