It turns out that the next iteration of Microsoft Office, Office 15, will actually have a dedicated WOA tablets version, making one of the big question marks before the success of those slates pretty much a moot point. Moreover, the whole interface will be touch-optimized, not only meant for a mouse, and Office 15 geared towards low power consumption, which is the main point of ARM-based tablets...

Definitely headed in the right direction here!
I can see deep corporate integration if MS does this right.. and great adoption by the public IF they don't price the W8 tablets at $800 which I full expect MS to do.

It's not as if they just started work on Office 15 now. They probably started work on it soon after the decision was made that W8 will have arm support. I believe Office 15 will come out as soon as WOA becomes available, or soon thereafter.

Wow it looks like a person can do some serious work on an arms 9 to 12.inch Tablet computer with a dedicated keyboard dock or external usb keyboard. If the battery life of the Windows 8 arms tablets are OK these tablet computers are what the Enterprise
has been looking for for a long time and could be great for students and regular People.
to use
