um... phonearena, i thought the prefix VX was assigned to LG phones, and HTC phones use the prefix XV, not VX...

You might want to look at the article once again... There is no VX anywhere in it, it says XV... "The XV prefix is usually the manufacturer's designation for Verizon". However you are right VX is LG and XV is HTC.

are you sure tmobile's version is going to have the 3.5mm jack?? because from what i hear only the verizon and telus will. also in other websites like engadgetmobile they say that this phone might actually be the (Whitestone: 5 megapixels, no keyboard) some other htc phone

The XV6875 was actually certified by GCF back in April, so here's to hoping for an earlier release of the Touch Pro2 on Verizon.

Here is my biggest concern about the TP2.... Will it cost me an arm, leg, and a few other body parts like the previous versions of this HTC line? If so, I am really considering the Omnia II.
