The Galaxy S with the lag fix can get over 1900 and it still runs 2.1. When it runs 2.2 it will probably be closer to 2500+. So, this tablet is no big deal really. :)

Right, but it has to power a 4" screen, this here has to power a lot more pixels, and the Quadrant doesn't take into account the performance boost from the dual-core technology plus it has been run on a pre-production device. Other than that there are Galaxy S Quadrant scores 2500+ already with the core fried to 1.2GHz and some major hacking, but that's not stable...

I think he means Galaxy S Tab

size of the screen has nothing to do with the resolution. My vibrant runs just under 2300 in quadrant. With the jit it should pop 3000...hopefully..lol since I was hoping for the tab in a10 inch form, if they slap a super amoled screen on this baby I would be very exited. And increase the darn battery. Yea it runs fine on the small battery, but why not get impressive results with a bigger one. No achilles heels darn it!! There's always something wrong!

This HAS to be better than the Galaxy S. I'm hoping the massive Streak is as good as reported so I can get rid of this GS.

I think that bench mark test is usless. I saw a video of a galaxy s scoring way lower than a nexus one but completed the test alot faster Also anything samsung is going to have a superamoled display. When it comes downt to it this toshiba is looking good but i really doubt it will have a us partner. That being said i realoly like the ti omap chips in the motorola better. I do think the ram or rom i forget needs to be higher in the motos. The samsung also kick ass on the gpu also. But i do regress i have verizon so i have little choice. Motorola htc or now samsung fascinate. I like htc but battery life is horrable. Moto has great battery life. Just waiting to see the samsung to use my two year on moto x or samsung. The x is awsome but screen is a tad big. I am rambling i know. Hurt my shoulder and just took a vicodin so know i am feeling great. but sorry for the ramble.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10" is coming out later this year. Sorry to burst your bubble but no other companies will be using a Super AMOLED screen, that's strictly Samsung use only. Having said that, the 7" form factor seems like a very compact and functional device that's usable in one hand. Let the swyping begin! :)

It was interesting to observe that the battery is just 1020mAh, but still managing to deliver seven hours of mixed use, which they define as web browsing and watching videos.
