If you are not looking for the thinnest one out there, $429 buys you quite the Android tablet come mid-July, and the preorder pages for the Toshiba thrive are already up at few popular retailers...

I find the design extremely ugly. Why is the bezel so big? However, I will take function over looks any day. Finally a tablet with standard USB port and SD card slot. The iPad and Xoom might look pretty, but this is closer to what I've been looking and might be enough to finally get me to buy a tablet.
I wish tablets were more similar to a PC
without a keyboard, than a smartphone without the phone. I mean, who really holds this giant thing up to take pictures??? No need or practical use for rear camera.

got confirmation today from a toshiba rep that there WILL be a keyboard attachment dock available in july, much like the Asus Transformer eee
