Toshiba TG01 now available in Spain through Movistar

If you live in Spain, you probably feel the envious eyes of cellphone fanatics in the U.S. and other countires upon you. After all, Movistar is offering the Toshiba TG01 in the country. The first handset with the blistering fast 1 GHz Snapdragon processor also features a massive 4.1 inch resistive display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, speedy 7.2Mbps HSDPA 3G connectivity and a 3.2 MP camera with AF. Powered by Windows Mobile, the device is offered by the carrier for free under certain monthly plans.
As we reported yesterday, Japan was the first country to launch the model as the handset makes its way throughout Europe. As for seeing this unit in the States, it will probably be eventually available, off contract, unlocked and at a price that is far from zero. Better start saving that change now from under the couch.
