Toshiba TG01 getting some new life in the form of Windows Mobile 6.5

US consumers have been waiting a long time for the Toshiba TG01, but the wait will continue on with no end in sight. For those lucky people who managed to get their hands on one, they're in for a really nice treat very soon. Windows Mobile 6.5 is expected to be launched relatively soon – and the Snapdragon powered TG01 will be getting an update for it. In addition, they will relaunch it with 6.5 loaded on starting October 6 when Windows Mobile 6.5 is officially released globally. It's no surprise that this lightning quick and feature rich handset would get the upgrade – current owners will be entitled to download it at no charge.
