Top dozen movies in the Android Market priced at 99 cents for the next two weeks
Thanks to a tweet from @Android, we now know that for the next two weeks, the price of viewing one of the top 12 films in the Android Market is reduced to 99 cents for each flick. Unfortunately for those overseas, the offer appears limited to the US. Other films are still priced from $1.99 to $3.99.

The titles include Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Green Lantern, Bridesmaid, Crazy, Stupid, Love, Horrible Bosses, Fast Five,The Chane-Up, Larry Crowe, The Beginners, Conan The Barbarian, Trespass and Scream 4. Looking at it another way, you can view all twelve movies for just $11.88.

If you have to spend Thanksgiving with those relatives you can't stand, here is a chance for you to slip on a set of ear buds, and for less than a buck, you can tune them out for a couple of hours. If that isn't enough time, simply repeat.

Might have to check that out. Im already happy with the mirror of my Motorola Photon 4g but these cheap movies will add a nice preview of movies i have not yet seen for a price of $.99. Google keeps getting better and better. More dominant as they will continue to lead the mobile world of users forward.

Really none of them are much better then the other one. I like the windows one but have used the android one on my friends phone and app store on my ipod. I really found them to be very equal in quality.

I know this is off topic. You can moderate it if you feel like it, PA. Just wanted to wish everyone here a happy Thanksgiving. :)

You would.

Taco is just mad because his family probably wants nothing to do with his stupid ass on Thanksgiving.

@Sniggly - you might get an enforced 3 day 'vacation' for your post. Happy Thanksgiving to you too. If enough thumbsdown votes get cast, our posts might yet get moderated.

Back on topic - there are some music albums that are on the Market for $2.99. At that price structure, the album is cheaper to purchase than the individual song titles. Just need to find more than 3 songs on the album that you like.

Com'on xiobnb, give em' a break. Buying the EXACT same for every year for 4 years in a row gets expensive. If he couldn't jailbreak his phone to steal all those apps, how could he afford the next iPhone in a few months? What is it, the iPhone 4GS, 4SG, 5... Whatever. Lol!
