When it comes to one of the biggest events for the year, the Superbowl, nobody did worse PR for the iPhone camera than Apple chief executive Tim Cook...

I can take amazing picture from my smartphone what you are talking about?

Its can even beat many low to mid end DSLR.

But yeah high end DSLR are the king of picture.

It may look that way on a tiny screen. Smart phones can take somewhat comparable pictures in daylight to a low-end DSLR... But they are absolutely destroyed by anything mid range and above, really; by most low end DSLR's as well. Especially in lowlight, or if you ever zoom/crop.

A smart phone's tiny camera lens and sensor are limited by physics and no amount of clever software engineering can overcome the fact they simply don't let in enough light.

Not for me bro, the quality is still lacking for me.

I prefer to use proper camera for taking photos, some low/mid end dslr will do.

I can see Samsung hammering the Hell out of this photo when they start advertising the better low light ability of the S7 Britecell sensor.

Well Tim Cook will have been getting very excited around those big muscly guys.
So you don't know what he was doing with his other hand at that moment to cause excess shaking.

Would you say it's low if a guy started shaking in excitement at a field full of women?

Daaaammmmn it man... You literally made me "laugh out loud" on that comment... Daaaammmmm... Hahahaha, that's funny... "Those big muscly guys", because he's rainbow...

Well maybe he got an "error 53" down there, with his other hand. O.o

Better yet, use any one of a number of Android smartphones that through rigorous testing by DxOMark have been proven to be superior to the best iPhone camera (iPhone 6s Plus):

1. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
2. Sony Xperia Z5
3. Samsung Galaxy Note V
4. Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

(iPhone 6s Plus occupies the 5th spot)

And better than the iPhone 6s:

6. Google Nexus 6P
7. Moto Droid Turbo 2
8. LG G4
9. Moto X Style
10. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

(iPhone 6s occupies the next i.e. 11th position)

Lot's of great options. I have nothing against the Lumias, but objectively the best of them ranks 21st.

Even then then PureView is still superior to whatever android oem's are up to. Don't know why you would bring up lower quality cameraphones.

Because DxOMark is biased towards android and biased against Windows phone, no matter the sensor or quality of the picture.

Just can make this stuff up!!! Tim Cook (Quarterback for Apple) actually Turned over, Fumbled the Ball to Samsung that ran it for a touchdown. Samsungs marketing team is going to hammer this home when they launch the S7 and even before then you will see them using this for highlighting the S6, S6 Edge, S6 edge plus and NOTE 5 16 mp OIS cameras to the max.
Tim will have to explain to the board this blunder.

Poor fella! Probably tripped on something and was unable to reproduce the shot.... or he just really sucks at taking pics! Either way, bad decision to post it.

Hahaha Tim Cook seriously screwed up here, what was he thinking to post such a terrible pic:d I bet Apple's stock market will close in "negative" today over this.
