Japanese accessory maker Sanwa might not be a household name, but that’s the exact company that made this awesome micro projector compatible with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S…

too bad the iPhone is bad at playing movies, and also transfering them to the device :)
but i guess this gadget kind of makes up for that tiny screen in some ways...

true it took ages to convert my How I met your mother series and then to transfer them to my ipad

4. lukasound posted on 03 Jan 2012, 08:22 3 1

i just copy them through my regular usb or wifi connection or download the torrent files directly to my phone, and play in which ever format they are (even full hd) on my SGS2...
ah, the wonders of android :)

i can even send the series or movies in seconds to my friends phone through bt 3.0, wifi direct or usb-on-the-go... but apple users never heard of such technology marvels :)

True! i now remember when i had my iPod, it took really long to convert videos to be played in the iPod.

I really liked to do that, because back in the day (iPod Video) it was the most advanced MP3 Player in the world.

What's the fuzz all about?

@goesoer:
This is awesome?
Don't you guys read the latest news about smartphones and gadgets?

@ Jenks:
Nothing new about a projector for a phone.
Samsung had one build in in 2009 (which wasn't released btw)
But last year there was the i8520 with Android 2.1

So people who wanted/needed a projector for their phone already had the change.
Way sleeker and not much bigger than a normal smartphone.
'
And a projector just comes in handy if you need to do a presentation 'adhock'
It's absolutely not for watching movies. Who would want that trough a phone
If you've got the space to project the picture, you'll better use a 46" or larger HDTV ;)

Samsung is the trendsetter nowdays if it comes to technology for smartphones.
Just think screens, processsors, memory, stereo speakers

i agree to all except that the phone is not for watching movies...
i watch series and movies all the time - in the gym while orbing or treadmiling, on trips, when someone else uses my computer and/or tv at home, or to watch in bed not to wake up someone beside me :)
a projector would come in handy in some of those situations...
i guess they are saving some of those already available technologies to justify the next generation of a device... just like virtual keyboards, tactile texture feedback, thumb print lock...

@!catt4u, i just gave u thumbs up, but me as a student, i'd like to have that 2 project movies in my room, instead of havin a huge projector, we live in a portable world, thats why phones are not just about making phone calls. #JusyMyOpinion

Thanks for the info Catt but I was impressed w/ the added battery feature & the sleek design, while I wouldnt use this for movies that often, this would be great for my line of work, this would be great for quick presentations when trying to instruct training classes or when in meetings & added battery is always a bonus

It may not be the newest technology but it's still pretty cool. I prefer this one from Go Baby Mobile though and it's pretty cheap too
