This is the biggest Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge leak so far - see the Android flagships from all sides
By now, you're probably well aware that Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge announcements for February 21st, which is tomorrow (Sunday) at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Like most high-profile smartphones, almost everything there is to know about Samsung's Android flagship duo has leaked days and weeks in advance.

Today, fellow mobile tech website Android Headlines basically exploded with a complete gallery of photos that offer a look at Samsung's coveted flagships from nearly every angle The source who supplied the images has pre-retail units of both devices in their hands, and shared the goodness for all to see.

Looking at the photos, the Galaxy S7 Edge does seem to feature a larger display at 5.5-inches, compared to the Galaxy S7’s 5.2-inch display. However, the Galaxy S7 Edge doesn't appear to be much taller, which is good news for those looking for a larger display, without sacrificing on portability.

All in all, the Galaxy S7 is similar to last year’s devices in terms of the overall look and feel, but a few of the more subtle details are now a little clearer. One can also see that both devices will have the Always-on display feature. Moreover, several images show that the S7 and S7 edge have standard microUSB ports, rather than USB Type-C ports. We can also tell that the camera hump is no longer protruding.

The photos displaying the homescreen show Samsung Pay is prominently featured amongst the Google apps. Close-ups also show what appears to be more sensors, possibly to control the always-on display like the sensors on Motorola devices. Also, the ‘About’ screen from the 'Settings' menu shows that the devices run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. We can also make out the KNOX version, which appears to be 2.6. The Galaxy S6 launched with KNOX version 2.4, so it's possible that KNOX includes some new features and improvements.

All the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge photos are available in the source link below.

Looks similar to S6 Edge. But it's a complement rather than a complaint....

Those 'dots' in the phone clearly tells you that this is a prototype/testing device. It could still have same dimensions etc.,, but you won't find this phone in reatil.
Most probably someone might get sacked for leaking if done early in development phase. Those dots are used to identify the device.

Some bad news for some users no IR on the phone

But there is also no IR on the G5 so it's the end of the road for the IR

That's the reason it's actually pushing me towards the Edge this time, despite being a bigger device. Now I love the 5.1" screen size and think it's most ideal, but the fact the GS7 Edge is a bigger screen and looks to be only a quarter of an inch taller than the regular plus much bigger 3600mAH battery, thinking I'm getting the Edge on day one. Now 0nly thing is I wish they still 0ffered the Blue-ish Black color from last year, but 0h well.

just bigger and taller a bit but with additional 0.4 inches and 3600mAh and also the dual edge display .. wow

Somebody at Samsung is going to be fired soon. The watermark barcode is quite good visible on the handsets making it easy to identify the owner.
If you get your hands on such a device why the hell don't you hide those codes to protect the employee?!

The marshmallow update for the international unlocked S6 started rolling out last week. The carrier version hasn't been announced yet though.

u forgot, even the single edge of the note edge, which was developed by apple before & apple single-handedly revolutionised the industry & tried to bring something new to the market

Copied what, liar? The Edge is a completely different design of the Apple phones. Where you found similarity with the iPhone?

Actually, the dual edge is the only thing they didn't copy from Apple. With that said, it's totally useless.

Kinda wish they do a metal back instead of glass.

Hey phone arena. I can't post over LTE. Fix this crap already. Either you are incompetent or just a** h****. Given you the benefit of the doubt your not a** h****.

May just have to stick with Android Central. A great group of tech people who know their stuff.

Touchwiz is gonna suck once again as well :(
