Apple usually doesn't stream the media events where it reveals its latest and greatest inventions, however, the one that's going to take place today, the iPad mini event, will be an exception to the rule, maybe the first of many...

this is the difference maker between apple and others like sammy, sony, htc, etc.
All of the above are trying to build ecosystems which are really good for consumers and they provide customers with a richer more immersive experience BUT androids and WP doesn't force consumers to own anyhting whereas Apple seems like a very monopolistic company who wants to shove all of their products down their own customer's throats!

I mean why on earth isnt the apple event available to iphone, or ipod users for that matter? In a day and age where podcats and other internet medium is important why is apple making it exclusive just for Apple TV owners?

What I don't get about them streaming it on their website, they require Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later, or Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Also, streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Apple is a company becoming richer and richer by taking advantage of the dumbness of a lot of people. I guess the company's motto is "you need to buy this in order to get this". It seems they doing pretty good in that area coz a lot of people patronize their idea. --just saying

are you guys still curious even if you say you're a hater, but it means you obsessed and that's mean you're psycho. no, i'm not curious, thanks. if the ad was broadcasted with "must use specified thing" it means it is for internal costumers only and we are as an outsider a.k.a gaijin should not involved.
