The unlocked Moto Z Play is once again $50 off

Back in January, Motorola cut the price of its unlocked Moto Z Play from $449.99 to $399.99, but that was only through mid-February. Now, the smartphone is once again available for $50 off, not just from Motorola, but also from major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, or Newegg.

This new deal is valid until April 10. If you choose to get the Moto Z Play directly from Motorola (see the source link below), you can also add a swappable back to change the handset's look. The swappable rear shells are available for $19.99 (wood and fabric style), or $24.99 (leather style).

Currently running Android 7 Nougat (after an update released in February), the unlocked Motorola Moto Z Play can be used only on GSM/LTE networks like AT&T and T-Mobile.

Although it's been half a year since the Moto Z Play was originally released, this is still a recommendable smartphone, especially at $399. The device is very reliable and offers pretty nice features overall (long battery life being one of its main strengths).
