I would think that a glowing Apple logo would decrease battery life. Just kinda seems like waste of battery life to me in any case. Wouldn't that battery life be better put to use, say, I dunno...MAKING CALLS?

The battery on the new iPhone will last 1.5 times as long as the original. I think that should answer your question

Actually, that's speculation bro. Until the unit actually ships, and it's been proven and documented that it lasts 1.5 times longer, then you can talk to me. Until then, you just sound like an idiot spouting off speculation you read from websites. Besides, I haven't had a phone yet that gets the actual battery usage times that the factory claims it will get.

So it's not speculation that the iPhone has a glowing logo on the back? Is it not speculation that there is even going to be a new iPhone? You're commenting based on speculation and Im commenting based on speculation. This whole thread is based on speculation. And if there really is a glowing logo on the back, you don't even know if the glowing back logo is powered by the phone's battery or if its just something like glow in the dark paint/plastic. You're probably getting your sources from the same places as I am. And until you hold an actual unit in your hand that has a glowing logo, then you can talk to me.

lol glowing apple logo, hmm i wonder is this logo glow will brain wash us all while we sleep. In any case, id like to see apple swap out there intergrated batteries for individual battiers like most other cell phone makers.

Yeah, I don't know why this isn't illegal.

hahaha glowing logo. hey apple, go 'green' and use glow in the dark paint. all sarcasim aside, it's really a pitty that such a cool device had to come out on such a sad 3G network.

i didnt know the iphone was on tmobile, or sprint? Just because the iphone (which doesnt get that good of reception compared to other phones) doesnt get service in your mum's basement doesnt mean att sucks. Also as for the glowing logo, why does everyone hate that? in all likelyhood it will be one smaller LED that will light when you miss a call, incoming calls, or the such. Almost EVERY PHONE HAS THIS. Apple decides to put it in the logo, so it looks cool. People need to get over hating phones because they're not PERFECT. They've come to a point where you have to get a phone that is suited for you. They all have cons and pros. no phone is perfect. Cars have been made for over 100 years and there still isnt a perfect car. color tvs have been made for almost 50 years, still not a perfect one of those either. Theres no perfect hiome. theres no pefect store. theres no perfect company. Its about geting whats right for YOU

People are just making fun of the logo because there really isn't anything else to make fun of. I mean the glowing logo is not a revolutionary idea but it's not really worth that much attention that it needs to be criticized

Yeah, except usually the flashy LED that shows a person missed a call or has a message is on the FRONT of the phone where the person using the phone can see it...not on the back, where people set there phones down on. Thanks for playing anyway though.

This is just based on SPECULATION but I also heard that the logo might double as a camera flash. That would be pretty cool. The flash would have to be extra bright too.

or on the back, where people set thier phones down so they can spin it really fast to "scratch the record''.

its funny how you verizon/sprint/tmobile employees have to look at petty things to complain about when it comes to the Iphone because you guys simply dont have a phone that compares in any way. simple as that... say what you want about the iphone with the new software update that will be released and the features it will add to the functionality there is simply nothing wrong with the device. I'm sure for those of you who sadly live in the middle of nowhere and don't get 3g reception you will cry about the service att offers but in most of California we have great 3G coverage. I don't blame you guys for hating on the iphone, i guess i would also if I got stuck with a carrier that kept trying to release phones that they crown as "iphone killers." the fact that every company is and has been trying to do so says it all.. so keep believing in your blackberry storm and your palm pre but the fact of the matter is that iphone is simply reaching the point where it is untouchable(once the new software gets released and the new version carries flash on its web browser)... sorry chums

sad you care more about the phone then the network. turd nothing is more important to any cell phone subscriber than the network it is on. If their phone doesnt get reception, drops all its calls, and doesnt send their messages.....they are walking. Hence why the I Phone still leads the industry in churn percentage. Rock on Zombie, when that one phone you depend on is now on multiple carriers, lets see what your comeback will be then. I have no problem in outselling any ATT rep with the most basic of phones when it comes to killing the i phone, I have been killing it for years.
