The Apple Store is a place where usually there is a ton of friendly people, a little island of freedom where you can check out the newest iGadgets…

Prosecute is right!
Apple Geniuses?...more like A$$hole Perverts!
Breaking and stealing is very bad but at least it doesn't affect the customer...but sexual harrassment...this is crap!
I will never gify my mom, sis, any female relative or any woman/girl an iDeice just because of this! I am a strong believer and supporter of women's rights and protection of these rights.
Come on people open your eyes...this could happen to anyone of your families!
Apple A$$holes can go to hell as far as I am concerned!

And people wonder why the supply of iToys is tight? Apple may not be making as many sales as they are claiming. First there is the matter of display yield at the display manufacturer. Now there is the intentional destruction at the store. It seems to be a miracle that any iToys make it to customers.
I am curious where the sabotage is greatest?

Do you mean he was Nazi like dictator or a Nazi to dictators?

So, some people working retail do stupid things. Not surprised. Stores running under weak management allow employees to run amok. Again, not surprised. None of this is anything that doesn't happen in other companies to some degree.
In any retail chain there will be good stores and bad stores. Seems like Apple may have a few too many problem stores and now that this is public, they'll look into the matter. The fact that this stuff has come to light doesn't surprise me much - I'd be more interested to see how Apple handles the situation.

I couldn't agree more, this is just so iTwisted on so many levels.
I'm no fan of Apple but, to recklessly destroy Apple products for no reason whatsoever, especially since it's not like their products have evolved in a way to remain a competitive threat, is just sick and vicious.
Apple will probably release a statement saying, "We at Apple have been iViolated, please stay iTuned and continue to buy our products."

i agree how they handle it is more important than stopping the "inevitable" battle between good and evil........you cant stop it but you can sure organize things out and do away with as much of it as possible.....
3. rawkuss (Posts: 29; Member since: 02 Nov 2012)
Had a friend tell me half of the stuff that was in that Gizmodo article happen like a year ago right before he quit. Wonder what will happen at these stores now that a this stuff is "public".

Sexual harassment from Geniuses? OMG
All Apple cares about is grabbing money?
45. VJo003 (Posts: 349; Member since: 11 Mar 2012)
Company wants to grab money
Employees want to grab some ads
7. TheMan (Posts: 441; Member since: 21 Sep 2012)
I'm not saying any harassment or wanton act of destruction is trivial, but every retailer has these problems. Finding them at Apple shouldn't surprise anyone.
11. androidisbaws (banned) (Posts: 74; Member since: 17 Dec 2012)
Nope, probably just apple. You'll never find this at a store carrying any android products because those employees tend to be smarter and more respectful like the fans of android.
16. kindlefireowner (Posts: 487; Member since: 05 Dec 2011)
Android user smarter and more respectful? Are you kidding me. Android lover's wait for months for updates that never come. Is that smart. Android lover's post here everyday on how great Jelly Bean is going be on their phone, but the minute Google says Key Lime Pie is coming, Those same android lover's will say Jelly Bean is outdated and now I want Key Lime Pie. Which they know nothing about. That is stupid.
17. chaoticrazor (Posts: 2347; Member since: 28 Aug 2012)
your really living in your own little delusion aren't you
respectful, most of your android fans dont know the meaning of that word and you have proved that time and time again. this happens everywhere sadly.
your pathetic basically, if you want to be a one sided troll do it on the trivial articles like the kid you are

Your post made my day.... a mobile OS purifying people's mind!? Wow Android is a must buy for all the Rapists. Govt should force Android for all the criminals, it'll purify them! BS //

We won't have anymore school shootings, that's for sure.

I had to laugh that there were people who didn't see your caustic sense of humor and replied in a defensive manner to it. I kinda thought the "/s" was implied.
33. Droiddoes (unregistered)
Actually yes it should be surprising. You do know this is almost 2013 right? Even the crappiest of crappy companies (wal mart, walgreens) takes sexual harrassment VERY seriously and has a zero tolerance policy.
Best I can figure is apple holds a patent on sexual harassment, which invalidates the harassers actions and opens them up to a lawsuit.
44. XPERIA-KNIGHT (unregistered)
OMG HAHA .........and the apple patent jokes continue! lool
9. f1r3z0r (Posts: 88; Member since: 09 Nov 2011)
Smell likes felony and will apple sue themselves? Haha haha no cool at all seeing you grandma naked
10. androidisbaws (banned) (Posts: 74; Member since: 17 Dec 2012)
Another reason to choose Samsung.
12. k4j98 (Posts: 60; Member since: 12 Jul 2012)
All companies have dirt, it just requires some digging to be revealed.
13. disneydad (Posts: 114; Member since: 26 Mar 2012)
Now Apple will start sueing people for 'sexting' since they patented it!
Seriously, why is anyone surprised? This company is not a uptopian zenith of upstanding moral values but is staffed by average people who do selfish and immoral things. Best Buy's Geek Squad had a similar case regarding accessing users info illegally.
20. iDroidWin (Posts: 117; Member since: 07 Dec 2012)
I hope this doesn't turn into Samsung versus Apple. The problem here lies with employees. I hope Apple takes necessary steps, for their customers. If someone trust apple for something, its for their customer service. I read several comments and was disappointed with them. I don't support Apple policies but its not because of Apple's policies or Samsung or google's higher moral ground. Let's not shift the locus of problem.
21. lubba (Posts: 1313; Member since: 17 Jan 2011)
@k4j98 Google's got the most dirt of them all.
23. dragonscourgex (Posts: 307; Member since: 16 Jan 2012)
You can not blame a company for the acts of their employees. Yes, a company should have people in place with high morals and standard to catch people like this before it gets out of hand. Now, if the company knew about it, and did not take steps to remove the problems, then it is the company fault. I hate Apple and their product are overprice junk in my eyes. But, I am not going attack them over action of their employees.
26. TRADEMARK (Posts: 3; Member since: 14 Dec 2012)
As long as its not other products than as it is, thats okay, surely they, that, deserve it?
29. parkwaydr (Posts: 572; Member since: 07 Sep 2011)
Guys apple may be a lot of things. But I seriously doubt any upper management guys would be OK with these things. Even if its just to save public face. I'm sure these things will be handled. Apple knows public image is important.
34. Droiddoes (unregistered)
Exactly, I mean look how seriously they took the Foxxconn debacle. They turned that place right around and the workers are now happy, productive, and well compensated.
That was sarcasm btw.
35. parkwaydr (Posts: 572; Member since: 07 Sep 2011)
Be that as it may. Most Americans could care less about working conditions of other countries . But something like this would have a completely different outcome.
37. Droiddoes (unregistered)
Obviously they "could care less". People always have the option of caring less.
38. rusticguy (Posts: 2828; Member since: 11 Aug 2012)
Spot on. That's why Warren Anderson was protected vehemently by US ...http://ibnlive.in.com/news/bho
39. speckledapple (Posts: 892; Member since: 29 Sep 2011)
Well now, is this something new? Probably not as we have no real idea the things that the people who helps us in our many comforts do.
40. jroc74 (Posts: 5379; Member since: 30 Dec 2010)
I'm just surprised Gizmodo is doing this. That's one of the first sites ppl mention being biased towards Apple.
41. Edmund (Posts: 656; Member since: 13 Jul 2012)
You forgot about the babies they sacrifice in the storeroom after each sale. Apparently employees drink the blood for extra energy.
Time to boycott the site. You guys are pathetic
42. jroc74 (Posts: 5379; Member since: 30 Dec 2010)
I think the thing ppl are over looking is the training process Apple Store employees go thru. These are Geniuses, remember?
Remember this article? That reads almost like brainwashing techniques. You wouldnt expect someone that studied and uses this manual to do whats posted in this article. I wouldnt be surprised if Apple did psych tests for potential employees.

They're acting like its the end of the world.
Wait a minute.....

Don't worry..in my opinion it is the same everywhere and with every product. This is the reason I delete all my info and accounts in case my phone needs to go to service. I backup all my info and i usually do a hard reset. And no..not because I have naked pictures of myself in it :))
