The new version of Android Market brings it closer to App Store... visually
We showed you leaked pictures of the new version of Android Market last week and video evidence that confirms its existance has just been posted on the Android Developers blog that reveals the new features that version 1.6 of the operating system is bringing along. Aside from all beautified icons and pictures jazzed up to represent the phone apps better, you will also have four new sub-categories - sports, health, themes and comic books. Of course, developers will be able to pick the proper sub category for both their existing and future apps.

Fingers crossed the new version rolls out soon, because it brings Android Market much closer to App Store in both look and functionality. What we need now is more developers that will make sure it bursts with (not that) useful applications.
