The new proof on a Samsung SCH-i520 Verizon LTE phone is a rugged protective case
We already have three phones announced or ready for announcement, that will be LTE-enabled for Verizon's 4G network - the Motorola DROID BIONIC, the HTC Thunderbolt and the LG Revolution. While the last two are still to be announced, there has been some legitimate info around them already.

The fourth LTE phone expected for Verizon is the leaked Samsung SCH-i520. That's the internal coding, of course, under which it appeared in Verizon's internal system recently. Now a third party accessories retailer that we've been already pointed towards by a Verizon tipster once, has another speculation in the making.

On its website you can order a $24.99 rugged protective case for the Samsung SCH-i520, which at least confirms a whiff more about its existence. Anyway, we should know more pretty soon, as Verizon's keynote is about to kick in today, and if it doesn't get mentioned then, a lot of people will be surprised.

We will be there to update you on what's happening, so stay with us for more news and hands-on previews from CES 2011.
