The new Apple Watch television commercial is all about closing the rings

In an effort to get Apple Watch users to exercise and stay healthy, the interface includes three rings that users try to close. The Stand ring is actually reminding you to move through a notification that you receive every hour. The Exercise ring tracks activities that get your heart pumping, and the Move ring tracks how many calories are being burned off by your exercises and movements in general. It is based on your usual level of activity. If you exercise at a sloth-like level, walking to the bathroom and back could fill your ring. On the other hand, if you train regularly for a marathon, it will take some real exercise to close the ring.

The latest television commercial for the Apple Watch (Series 2 to be precise), is about closing the rings. The ad shows how dancing gets the Move ring going, that running closes the Exercise ring, and closing the Stand ring can be accomplished by rockin' out. Of course, all of your running, dancing and rockin' generates data that you can graph using the Health app on your paired iPhone.

Check out the latest television commercial for the Series 2 Apple Watch by clicking on the video at the top of the story. And if you are one who exercises at a sloth like level, using the mouse on your computer might show up as heavy exercising for you.
