iOS 5, one of the biggest redefinitions in Apple’s mobile platform, has been out for a couple of weeks now - plenty of time for users to digest the changes…

design only 1 phone for 18 months ..better be good..i wonder what apple's products would be like if they had a product line as samsung or htc?

You mean junk that can survive a fall much better than an iPhone, right?
Hawk, you're free to love the iPhone. Really. But this bulls**t attitude you and other iFanboys have, that anything not made by Apple is automatically junk, is disingenuous at best. Why is it so impossible to agree that more than one company at a time can produce a quality product?

It's sort of the same tripe you say about Motorola, Sniggly. But you love jumping down someone for expressing their opinion. And for the record, the iPhone 4 was performed with a jump test and it survived. But who on earth would go around and randomly drop their iPhone to prove a point?
yeah, I didn't think so.

They don't have to randomly drop their iPhone to prove my point. People accidentally drop them all the time, and the glass shatters if the phone is unprotected.
How often do I automatically declare any non Motorola phone to be junk? The only major phone manufacturer I don't trust is LG. I love HTC, I like Samsung, and as much as I'm ideologically opposed to Apple, I even recognize the quality of their products. Hell, if a Motorola phone is junk I'll readily admit that too.
So...want to try again, Miz?

And if you're too cheap to buy a decent case for your phone, then perhaps it deserves to break when you drop it accidentally. There's really no excuse considering cases are cheap if you know where to look. But still, you're waving that bs criticism around like a flag of victory.
You're trying to justify the fact that you are always praising Motorola in your posts. Despite the fact that Motorola is infamous for Blur, but heaven forbid anyone say anything about your favorite company.
Sorry, 3 seconds doesn't really warrant a second chance, buddy.

lol..
so, you buy an iphone unless your poor.. but then you only buy a case when your not cheap??? lolol ibot logic escapes me sometimes.
personally, I always have a case n screen protector on my devices.. im accident prone. I dont see why you wouldnt put a case on something that u spend that much money on.. especially if what your buying is made out of GLASS (dumbest design decision ever). iphone4s break.. a lot. almost everyone I know hasnt gone a year without cracking, scratching chipping, destroying an iphone... case or not.
Life happens. you can say any dumb thing you want about intentionally dropping a phone for a test, but the reality is at some point in your contract, you are going to drop that phone.. you are going to have it in your pocket while something hits it.. or it falls out of that pocket.. ect.
life happens. And having a phone with a design flaw that makes it as durable as eggshell china is a bad idea.

just for you Sniggly

If you had read the article you'd know that the phone had a case. Not to mention the many times I've seen iPhones of every generation with shattered screens, which had been dropped a few feet.
I mean, seriously, Gallito. Way to underwhelm.

The effort taken for the small changes was brilliant and moreover the features in iOS5 was affirmative.

I really can't see these so called changes. I guess I am very happy for this information. This is one of those Apple articles that makes me scratch my head. Someone felt the need to write this so I guess let me thank you for the hard work.
lol

Just like you I was amused also!
Ohh & you are welcome! :-)

so for 18 months you couldn't implement real features? You Buy siri and remove it from the market, steal android notifications and wiggle widgets into sightly different places on the screen.
woooptiedoo.
good thing apple doesnt have any competition with its own OS, otherwise as a company they would be bankrupt right now with a time schedule like that .. lol
9. imadadof3 posted on 31 Oct 2011, 09:23 0 2
You're right. The iPhone has no real competition at all. :)

@ remixfa....good thing your opinion means nothing to the world of phones or Android would rule the world....
and T-Mobile... will be the best network
24. remixfa posted on 01 Nov 2011, 11:46 0 0
thanks gallito, obviously my opinion does matter because android DOES RULE the smartphone world. Last I checked, android's global market share was nearly double what iOS's was.
You really need to work on your argument/insulting skills.. lol

This is bulls**t I'm pretty sure nobody had notice those changes till now,and nobody cares I update my wife's iphone and she didn't care much about it like most of the normal people is just a phone as long as it keep making call people are happy, not everyone is waiting for every update it came out to install it.I agree with SwagR,is just publicity everywhere about the perfect life with the phone there are more important thing on this world than just phones.
