everything in the first video is possible now. it's just a matter of cost. you would have to be Bill Gates to have it implemented lol.

Gorilla glass. . . the Xoom has it the iPad 2 doesn't lol. . . yet another hardware "spec/innovation" apple left out of it's prized device.

Gorilla glass is awesome. And I hail from the Corning area for my upbringing. The people involved with the company are so proud of the work they do. GO CORNING!

Side note: the formula for Gorilla glass was actually rediscovered; it was originally discovered back in like the sixties, but shelved, I think due to cost. And now look at it!

Gorilla Glass on the Captivate has been fantastic - phone screen always looks so shiny and I do not waste money buying screen protector as my phone screen NEVER gets scratched. Hopefully, no gorillas were harmed in its production :-)

see, this is the type of crap to where if im having an "intimate" moment with someone, everythings going great until my grandma calls me from a HUGE glass screen in front of my bed. Geez Grams! stop c***-blocking!!! but atleast people who make Windex would be GAZILLIONAIRES!!!

watch out Gorilla a Dragontail is behind you a Japanese Asahi glass maker will make Dragontail glass tougher than Gorilla glass on smartphone and tablet soon.

Gorilla glass is over-rated to be honest. They say its tough, well sure it is, but i'll remain a dis-believer until they can develop a glass that can actually withstand a 0.5m fall.

The gorilla glass in my Samsung Galaxy S was a total fail. Even with a screen protector on the front it couldn't hack landing face down on my timber floors in my house. Cracked the screen from side to side.

Bring on Asahi Glass baby.

Gorilla Glass is possible to scratch. My old DROID X had a scratch on the screen. I put a Invishield over it and the scratch didnt show up after that. I mainly put shields over my phone screen to help prevent smudges and finger prints, less so much on actual scratches. But I think it's very difficult to actually crack it. The iPhone's screen is completely opposite of that.

Yes even I saw one video which was demonstrating using nail, but it scratched the screen. So I do not trust the Gorilla Glass.

Compare Gorilla Glass to any other glass on the market and you will find it is the most durable. It is not scratch/break proof, but it sure will withstand a lot more than what you are used to.
