Woz is a smart guy I envy him. he likes Motorola phones like I do even the RAZR.

yeah, i'm actually in the process of getting a Galaxy Nexus but i just can't see myself missing the greatness and the features from Motorola devices so i'll probably trade it for a White Droid Razr. o:

Both may make you happy but what would you miss the most from blur?

49. KingKurogiii posted on 16 Jan 2012, 21:08 2

yeah, there's definitely things i like about the Nexus but i think i'll miss the Blur Widgets and the messaging system and also i like being able to have groups for my apps, i can hide all my bloatware and anything else i don't care to see and have a games list w/ a folder.

yes, but now u can resize any widget you have.. and honestly there are widgets on the market that do blur style things. folder making on ICS is as easy as it gets. U gonna love it. :)

see comment #62.
besides my sister here has a Transformer Prime with ICS and there's a few widgets i'm fond of like the Bookmarks and the Gmail widgets but there's more that i like on Motorola's UI and i'd get all those stock widgets with the update anyway so Razr FTW i say. also not all of the ICS widgets are resizable, it's more like half, about the same as Moto's.

My favorite part of the interview was when he said that Android Voice Commands are far better than Siri on the iPhone. It made me laugh so hard, after everyone saying how good of Siri is, and even the Woz admits it doesn't compare to the Voice Commands that android has had for over 2 years now.

I think this is a great article it just shows that both android and ios are at the top of the game but offer different experiences.

One thing tho, people say they love the simplicity of ios.........when i tell my mate to turn his wifi on, on his iphone, he goes -

Go to the Home screen by pressing the Home button or by unlocking your phone.
touch the settings incon.

Look to the right of the Wi-Fi icon and click on.

i just simply click on my power control widget on my homescreen, whats more simple than that ?

I would use Google Search to find answers to the kinds of questions you're asking, Woz. I think of a situation of when I would want to know the 5 biggest lakes or prime numbers or other dumb crap like that, but then again, people put all kinds of dumb searches into Google too.

If anyone is actually surprised that Woz likes certain things about Android more than iOS, you're a fool. Is Woz an Apple guy? Absolutely. But first and foremost he is a technology guy, and it's great that he has an open mind about the competition to iOS. Everything he says has basically mirrored my thoughts on the whole 'war', although I never used Siri when it was just an app so I can't comment on if it was better or worse. At this point I think everyone should just be pleased that we have real options from multiple companies when choosing a phone. Does anyone remember when you went to get a new phone and they had "this phone or this phone" and that was it? If the companies are appreciating ideas from one another and using them to make their devices better i'm allllllllllllllllll for it.

Wow even the Woz can admit he likes Android better, but of course he is not going to endorse that the Android is superior because he still gets money from Apple. Who in their right mind would risk messing around with that profit? Exactly!! LOL
