The Weather Network's Android app is updated
If you are an Android user that has a thing for the weather, the good news is that The Weather Network's Android app has been updated. Now included is a long-term 14 day forecast that reveals the major trends in the weather. Map layers now show lightning, which might keep you out of harms' way, and traffic flow is also displayed. Users will find improved news and video content, and a manual refresh button has been added so that you can update all of the data on the screen whenever you want to.

The Weather Network now supports Android tablets with screen sizes between 7-inches and 10.5-inches, and you will be able to navigate the app using controls that appear on a sidebar. Share capabilities have been added, and the overall user experience has been improved.

You can find the updated app on the Google Play Store, where it is a free download. If you've been using other weather apps and have been unhappy with the content, you might want to give The Weather Network and its updated app a shot at keeping you dry and warm.
