The Sanyo SCP-2700 will be a texting device for Sprint users?

This article contains unofficial information.
In contrast to the clamshell phones that Sanyo has provided last year, a new texting device seems to be on its way to Sprint customers. An Engadget tipster has shared a rather crude image of a possible future Sanyo device, called the SCP-2700. It is a candybar with a front-side full QWERTY keyboard and a landscape screen.
This may not be the cutest handset that we have ever seen, but still, it might offer a functionality that would suit all hardcore texting Sprint users.

The phone looks all right. I'm not a big fan of Sanyo devices though.
