The Phone House jumps the gun and sheds light on the LG Optimus 3D
Earlier in the day, we contemplated at what LG has in store for MWC 2011 after they sent us an invitation showing the subtle outlines of what appears to be an upcoming phone along with the caption of “into the new dimension.”

Now we're beginning to place the pieces of the puzzle together after The Phone House jumped the gun and posted a new coming-soon page for a device going by the name of the LG Optimus 3D. Taking that into consideration and the “into the new dimension” caption plastered on their MWC 2011 invitation, it clearly hints to the notion of some 3D-capable smartphone. Although the image used on the coming-soon page is none other than the existing LG Optimus One, it nonetheless points to the telling tale that a 3D-equipped smartphone is in store for the European market.

It's hard to fathom what technology they'll be implementing with this device, but some speculate it to be similar to the auto-stereoscopic display that's used with the upcoming Nintendo 3DS – which indicates that it won't require 3D glasses. All in all, we're fairly certain that there are going to be some people out there waiting to jump into the next dimension with 3D displays on smartphones.
