I want to have a feature to pinch out on springboard to see an overview of your apps just like Samsung galaxy and HTC sense .
Also a feature to grab your page indicator to switch between home screen quickly just like samsung
Hp webos style multitasking always a welcome
Bigger weather widget and weather on the damm lockscreen
Luckily have Facebook intergration , ios5 twiter intergration is stupid as i dont have twitter
3D effect while changing homescreen like HTC

first of all congrats Michael for this awesome article. i was actually waiting for you to come up with something that actually makes sense.
i was really tired of all the other PA articles covering this Godly/Heavenly event and presenting it like something never happened before. even i was expecting for something more. i mean i hate apple but that is not because i hate their devices, its because i hate their culture and business practices.
well apple welcomes you to june 2010 lol

yeah that's what i think and of course i hated iOS right from the beginning.
they create great devices, but, as mentioned in the article of holding updates for a major event like this makes it too tiring to wait every year.
yeah it's june 2010 for Apple :)

Android ftw

Well denied 911 I am not an I sheep
The reason I bought my iPod touch is because of its design , apps choices and OS fluidity .
But I am constantly thinking how can I make this better or how apple should made it better
Besides all those features that I listed wasn't patented anyway

Or you could just buy an Android... there are plenty of ios emulators available if you get nostalgic.

Thelegend, the answer is simple really. Quit short changing yourself and get a Galaxy S III. Once you go Droid, you will never go back.

So slow and buggy plus ugly .
But now I am actually okay with it

all of those are available via cydia just saying... it kinda goes against ios' theory so u wont be able to get them directly from apple... but its no different then downloading them from the android market

and most of the things apple needs to improve, as written in this article, are not very major features... the whole widget thing fundamentally is not apple-- it would be a design change that many people would not want,.. if they did they can just get an android.. i am pretty content with everything on ios plus a few cydia tweaks..

Yep wants the apple marketing wall is broken you see that it wasn't nothing special but like you said for ios users its huge because it's "new" to them but for Android etc its nothing new really...

Michael H., your writings on this topic are partial, spitfull and show that you are completely unfamiliar with this subject. I've said it many times PA, please stop thinking, when it's obviously hard for you.

If you give more honest answers to the satisfaction queries, they'll do more to try to resolve the issue... Artificiality breeds more artificiality.

I didn't read the article purposely because Ive been waiting for this exact one to pop up. iPhone users always thought they were ahead well... where are they now cause it definitely isn't the lead.

Let's not forget that this is software. The hardware is what will probably sell the next iPhone.

The fact that its an "Apple iPhone" will sell the next iPhone.

People still think that the iPhone is better than high end android models. Not saying the iPhone is a bad phone, it is a so-so phone but a great gadget. People these days want quality gadgets. The iPhone is still the leader in that category but phones like the HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy SIII, HTC Evo 4G LTE, all do their jobs as phones and turn around and be rather great gadgets. Apple should really concentrate on the call quality on the iPhone because on every iPhone that has launched, the call quality was decent. The iPhone 4S improves marginally over call quality in previous models. I can't really speak for the Galaxy SIII in call quality but I can for the One X and Evo and both of them are almost like talking on a land line. In essence, my point is that if apple wants to make the iPhone 5 or the "iPhone 4SS" a great phone, put the money where it counts....And please put LTE on the next gen iPhone.

And I sure as hell hope they get sued by all the other companies who own LTE patents...

I don't think they would add LTE capabilities on their iPhone right away.. Samsung is right there waiting for their LTE patents..
